3rd Annual Punta Mita Gourmet and Golf Classic April 11-14th

The Punta Mita Gourmet and Golf Classic, an annual celebration of world-class food, wine and golf, is set for April 11-14th in the beautiful resort enclave of Punta Mita, Mexico, home to the luxurious St. Regis Resort. and several world-class Jack Nicklaus golf course experiences.

Now in its third year, this iconic event invites guests to experience the ultimate fusion of world-class food, wine and golf including special events, tastings, dining experiences, and the Punta Mita Cup - a two-day golf tournament played on two incredible Jack Nicklaus Signature courses, the Bahia and Pacifico.

The renowned Pacifico course, with eight holes directly facing or playing alongside the Pacific Ocean, features the "Tail of the Whale," the world's only natural island green. The Bahia course, Nicklaus' second championship course in Punta Mita, has six ocean holes and opened in late 2008.

Confirmed participants for this year's Golf and Gourmet Classic include celebrity chef and restaurateur Todd English; famed Argentinean chef Fernando Trocca; celebrated chef Enrique Olvera of Pujol in Mexico City; famed chocolatier and owner of Garrison's Confections, Andrew Shotts; Tsuyoshi Murakami, chef and co-owner of the Kinoshita restaurant in San Paulo, Brazil; Thierry Blouet, chef and owner of Cafe des Artistes in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Abraham Salum, chef and owner of Salum restaurant in Dallas, Texas; notable sommelier and wine expert, Charlie Arturaola; and Laura Catena, fourth generation Argentinean vintner.
