2012 Jack Nicklaus Cup Matches set for September

The 2012 Jack Nicklaus Cup Matches are set for September 23rd - 26th at the renowned Toscana Country Club in Indian Wells, California. The Jack Nicklaus Cup Matches is contested over 54 holes by teams representing Nicklaus Design golf clubs and courses. Each team consists of four players, including three amateur members, and the golf professional, as the playing team captain.

Last year's event was held at the Grand Cypress Golf Club in Orlando, Florida where 19 teams participated in the scramble, best-ball and modified Chapman formats. Teams accumulated Stableford points for their net team scores over three days of play to determine the overall champion. In the end, the Desesert Mountain Renegade Course team edged out the Richland Country Club of Nashville, Tennessee for the first place finish.
