Nicklaus Academy at Nayar Vidanta Golf Club opens in Nuevo Vallarta

Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, Mexico -- The Jack Nicklaus Academies of Golf celebrated the grand opening of a new facility today at the Nayar Vidanta Golf Club in Nuevo Vallarta. Already deemed one of the best golf and instruction centers in all of Mexico, the Nicklaus Academy at Nayar Vidanta is the first ever Nicklaus Academy in the greater Puerto Vallarta region.

The grand opening event at Nayar Vidanta featured VIP tours of the facility, specialty clinics, and remarks from Nicklaus Academies' Worldwide Director of Instruction and PGA of America National Teacher of the Year, Mike Malaska.

The Academy offers everything from mental and physical assessments, personalized training programs, and custom fittings; to a fully integrated technology package for full swing and putting stroke analysis.

Technologies at this Academy location include multiple high-speed video cameras, a 1024-point pressure/ balance mat, industry-leading ball launch monitors, the K-Vest Kinetic Training System, TOMI Computer Putting Lab, Whole Body Vibration Technology, and FreeMotion Fitness Dual Cable Cross.

The facility also features a world-class short game training and practice area, along with one of best practice range designs in the world with 7 target greens, multiple pin locations, bunkers, and palm trees to simulate true course conditions make the Academy a one of a kind. The entire facility is lit for night use (until 11 PM) with both artificial and natural grass tee lines so hitting turf conditions are always excellent.
