A thinking man's golf course

The Nicklaus Course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve, it is a rewarding challenge, with several ‘double option' holes such as 7th and 15th which offer a choice of fairways from which to approach the green. The Nicklaus course offers a scenic yet strategic test of golf where position more then length is crucial. As Jack said it certainly is "a thinking man's golf course". The half way house on the Nicklaus is passed twice so you will never be short of a snack or drink. A Longest Drive competition is recommended on the 4th, with the 16th ideal for Nearest the Pin. An average fourball can expect to complete the Nicklaus Course in around 4 ¾ hours.

Fancy a Challenge?

The 15th hole is a long par 4 with out of bounds down the right. The second shot is over a stream to a well protected, undulating green.

Play it Safe

On the 6th play to the fairway on the right leaving you a short iron to the generous green.

Go for glory

A testing dog-leg, the 17th demands the utmost accuracy. A precise tee shot is paramount if a bath in the lake is to be avoided. The tapering fairway offers differing lies for the approach.
